It is with great sadness we announce that firm partner, Kevin William Gibson, Esq. passed away suddenly on June 19th, 2016, following a brief battle with cancer.
The beloved father, grandfather, husband and friend leaves behind a remarkable career of exceptional service to both his profession and country. A military veteran and avid outdoorsman, Mr. Gibson received the decree of Juris Doctor on May 29, 1979, after serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.
Working for over thirty-seven years as an attorney at law, he co-founded Gibson & Perkins, P.C. in 2001 with his friend and partner, Edward L. Perkins, Esq. Mr. Gibson devoted his practice to representing plaintiffs who were victims of legal and accounting malpractice. For the past fifteen years, he has fought ardently toward establishing a higher level of integrity in his profession: in this regard, we believe that he has succeeded.
Mr. Gibson shared his passion for representing victims of legal malpractice, and his decades of accumulated knowledge, with his son, Patrick K. Gibson, Esq., and their colleague, Paul Fellman, Esq. They, along with the rest of the associates and staff of Gibson & Perkins, P.C., will continue to build upon this virtuous legacy. He will be greatly missed.
Moving forward, our offices remain steadfast in their mission to serve clients across the entire legal spectrum (including legal malpractice with a pedigree which is second-to-none).
